Father Don Cullen, actively engaged with the Archdiocese of Kansas City since 1971. Embarks on his meaningful journey with ordination at Queen of the Holy Rosary in Overland Park. Serving passionately in parishes like Assumption in Topeka (1971-1974). And Saint Joseph in Shawnee (1974-1978), leaves a lasting impact through his unwavering commitment to faith and community.
After that, he continued his service at Saint Paul’s in Olathe (1978-1979). And Saint John’s in Lawrence (1979-1980). Father Cullen then assumed the role of Pastor at Saint Agnes from 1992 until 2005, taking a hiatus to care for his mother. In 2006, he resumed pastoral duties at Queen of the Holy Rosary and retired in 2013. Post-retirement, Father Cullen continued his service by assisting fellow retired priests in local parishes. While at St. Agnes, Father Cullen not only fulfilled his sacramental duties but also imparted invaluable life lessons to each eighth-grade class through his “Life Lessons 101” teachings.
