Who was Eileen Deborah Sheahan?

Eileen Deborah Sheahan, born on November 17, 2001, in Evanston, IL, tragically passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 22 due to a skiing accident in Colorado.

Eileen was the loving daughter of Patricia (Patti) nee O’Brien and Terrence (TJ) Sheahan and the incredible big sister to Erin, Margaret, and Michael.

Jeff Hanle, the spokesperson for Aspen Skiing Company, expressed in a press statement, “This tragic accident deeply saddens us, and our thoughts are with her family and friends during this difficult time.”

According to the Denver Gazette, this marks the third skiing or snowboarding-related fatality publicly reported in the state this year.

Eileen attended St. Joan of Arc grade school (now The Academy at St. Joan of Arc) in Evanston and Loyola Academy in Wilmette for high school.
