Barb graduated from Clarion Area High School and pursued further education at Clarion University, earning an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. With over 30 years of experience, she worked as a Critical Care Registered Nurse at Clarion Hospital.

Barbara A Wington was also a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. She was an active participant in Saint Joseph Catholic Church and the Rosary Society in Lucinda. She also attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarion.

Barbara married Todd A. Wigton on August 14, 2010, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarion. Survived by her parents, husband, and son, Nicholas E. Ochs.
